The Other Side of the Veil

No, this isn't a cloaked reference to some ethereal presence in the afterlife....or maybe it is, because this particular "ghost" is a remnant of a dead star, it's only presence now being the thin filamentary structures of dust and gas visible as the veil nebula. This image is part of a larger structure, the opposite side of the same object shown in the previous post, the total structure spanning over 2 degrees of  sky. This time the image comprises only Ha and OIII, mapped to red and blue, with the Ha and OIII then synthesised to make the green channel. The dreaded clouds moved in during the last 15 minute sub frame which has degraded the background, making it a tad "milky".
