A giant molecular cloud in the constellation of Orion is sillhoutted against a background emission nebula in the shape of a horse's head. Catalogued as IC 4592, it is 1500 light years distant.
This image represents about an hours worth of exposure collected in 5 minute subs through a Hydrogen Alpha filter.
