Adding Some Colour

The experiment with RGB images is now well under way, commencing with an earlier image of galaxy M51 taken earlier this year through some "standard" Wratten RGB filters

The next image is Messier 57, the "Dumbell nebula", a planetary nebula in Vulpecula, taken with an Astronomik LRGB filter set

Much in the astro news pages at the moment, comet Holmes, now bright and visible to the naked eye in the constellation of Perseus.

And finally for the moment, a shot of M27 taken from Muirshiel Park, Renfrewshire.
